I think there is not one. I had a 94 325 (same engine and tranny)--guess what--there is not a dipstick. You have to get under the car and take off the fill cap on top of trans--stick your finger in there to see if there is enough fluid. Is that crazy or what??????????? I imagine the 525 is the same as the 325.

anybody know where the dipstick is to check auto transmission nfluid level is on 1992 525i
