I have owned the car ('95 525ia) for about 6 months, and it looked like the previous owner never did anything to the black leather. I wanted to keep on top of things, so I tried the Lexol I found at PepBoys. It was very easy to use. I just worked it in with my hands. It soaked in and I re-applied another dose. After I was done, I wiped the entire surface off with a clean rag and it looked great. I didn't leave any oily residue on my hands, either. Not bad stuff for $12 a bottle.
