on the spinning object, or spinning object does the work directly on gases. And the force is being transfered by the mean of the same tool rotor or turbine. They dont look the same but the principe of transfering the energy, again(!) is the same just in different sirections.In V8 (or whatever) work(force) is apllied on additional things like cylinders, cranckshaft etc. what doesnt help to save the power. Well I am not fighting with you just wanted to express what I thought. My fault was I forgot the word 'rotary'.
