I had Bilstein HDs with stock springs on my car prior to having the Sachs kit installed. I was not happy with the setup. It wasn't so much that it had a harsh ride, it just felt like it was way overdamped. The shocks overpowered the springs. I didn't like the way it rode or handled.

I'm very happy with the Sachs kit so far.

I am doing struts/shock next week and was originally going to do the Bilstein EconoTC but am thinking about going to the HD's. Anyone here who has done it regret going to the stiffer ride ? At this point I plan to stay with the factory 15" wheels.

Thanks

Derek A.
