take long to start and idle rought (archive)

i have a 1991 525i and it was running fine until i ask a friend to change transmission mounts after that i have to keep cranking it for at least five times before start but when warm it is ok i change the plugs but same thing it even miss a lot im planning now to change the gas filter.
i used to hear the gas pump running load but now i can bearly hear it can some body please help me
