i am haveing a problem with the #4 injector of my 1990 e34 the engine is not stock it was built by rick hannerraus, it now has about 55 thousand miles on it but the problem is that the car started missing at speeds you can see the tach stumbling so I checked my plugs, they were all in order, cap rotor good wires good coil good airflow meter brand new, so pulled out the injectors and the #4 was CAKED with i guess carbon, so looking in the hole for that intake with a mirror and it was also full so got a nylon brush and cleaned the intake hole cylinder only for it 3 days later to cake up again, but this time the suff is not dry it is not antifreez or oil but it is kind of gummy cleaned it again a little deeper down this time test drove perfect for now what can this stuff be could it be a pcv problem, i think the only way to get it all out is to take off the intake manifold and clean it throughly but will it return all of the other cylinders are perfectly clean what gives
