Hi..SInce I got my 1995 E34 back from the dealer I have observed a problem.....I know E34 has 4 gears....But I observed that at 45 MPH or so on 4th gear the trans shifts back and forth particularly when ac comes on (as though it shifts to a gear)and I presume this must be the shift between torque converter locking up and going back to 4th gear....It is certainly not shifting to 3rd ....It is trying to go up like an overdrive.....

Also I observed my mileage has dropped from 24.8 mpg to 22.4 or so....

Can anyone explain what is going on......
