Pete:

Try these guys . I had to bench test a 740d auto-tranny one time and I got the plumbing diagrams, valve switching logic, etc., from them. There are some rebuild manual that are $100 and some valving manuals that are $30 or so I think.

Good luck and keep us updated. Rebuilding an automatic is not that big a deal from what I know. I missed a class at my last workplace due to a client engagement, but several of my colleagues learnt to dismantle and reassemble on in about 2 hours.

Does anyone have information on this 4HP22 ?

I got a faulty one in my workshop and would like to do the repair myself. But I prefer to have some info or drawings first before I start.
Hope somebody in here can provide some info.

Thank you in advance.
