Ok, this is a well known problem
This is probably the thrust arms bushings.
Go buy yourself a set of thrust arms with 750i or even stock bushings pressed into from ( while you are at it, you can change the control arms, but you are not obliged to.

Then follow the directions on the website.

And buy yourself a good tie rod puller.

1995 525i 99000 miles

I have a front end shimmy that was happining around 55 miles an hour, had the wheels balanced with that great machine at san francisco BMW, the shimmy moved to 60-65 miles an hour, and dissapears when I put the brakes on,
so I am comming to the conclusion that I need to rebuild the front end,
how about a rundown of doing this,
parts and what do I do??
