Hi,

The one and only time I received the message was when I started backing up out of the garage and I barely "flicked" the brake pedal. The message came up and never reappeared.

Here's a theory, folks who have reached the switch please confirm/deny. Does the switch under the pedal have two circuits or just one? That is, are there four wires going to it or two?

If it is a dual circuit, a just-so press of the pedal may only activate one pair of contacts, causing the computer to think something was wrong.

It's been four months now since that warning came up and so far, so good.
