Well... Noticed coolant leaking the other day, decided to investigate and save some bucks. Well, with the help of Rory (fellow board contributor), we discovered there was a faulty hose, that connects from the Thermostat to the radiator fill tank. Went to ChrisBMW and picked one up for almost $30 bucks!! I checked Zygmunt motors later that day (big mistake) found out I could have gotten the same part for $10!! --- Do Your Homework on Parts ---

Well... I changed the hose, filled up the tank and thought that was easy. Went to work, got into the car to grab some lunch later on, lights come on, COOLANT LEVEL!! Checked and it was all gone!! Luckily I had some in the back seat, so I filled it up and made it home.

Today, figure I might as well get it checked out since it obviously wasn't that simple. Came to find out that I needed a new radiator, radiator hose, also had them (AutoBahn Imports, Smyrna, GA) check out the steeering since it was pulling under braking, that turned out to be wheel bearings. So now we've gone form what I thought was a quick $30 fix to close to $800 with labor :(((((

Just wanted to vent!!!
