On My 94 540 I use the closed end of a combo wrench. You have to cut off the plugs on the sensor. You only have a small amount of room to work with. You only need to turn them a bit to break them loose. Just use plenty of WD-40 like Brunos site says and let them site for a while. I did both my wifes 93 740il and my 94 540ia w/ no problems. Call Patrick at BMA 888-262-3911. I think the price was $85 each.


on a 1995 540i. I'm getting pretty low gas mileage 15/20 city/freeway. Can I do this on my own?
