I used a "silver polish" from the hardware store. This does not pit the metal. The label also stated that it can be used on stainless steel and chrome. I would suggest that abrasive pads are too coarse for this job.

Do they often peel and look lousy like my 92? I think they fixed it on some years because I have seen others that look perfect. How about you guys? How do they look?
