When sat in traffic, where abouts on the temp. gauge should the needle sit? Mine sits literallly the neeldes width to the right of centre. Dunno if I'm imagining it, but I could have sworn that it used to ( a couple of months ago) site bang in the centre of the dial. Is this normal, or I am just being too picky?! I must admit, I haven't checked the coolant level as I've just got in and I'm waiting for it to cool off a bit first.

It had a new water pump about 12 months ago, so I'm guessing that if there is a problem it wouldn't be that so soon. If the viscous fan coupling is on it's way out I guess that would cause slightly higher running temps? Is there any way of knowing if it is about to need replacing - as I don't want to be sat in traffic one day watching the neddle doing loop-the-loop.

Thanks guys (& girls!)
