Lot's of good.

Drawback is you have to run premium gas. Don't expect a bump in mileage. If anything, it will go down some as the fun factor goes up.

Can't comment on the bang for a 540i. I have a Conforti chip in my 535i and love it (except when I hit the gas pump!)

What's the deal with the engine chips from Dinan and Jim Conforti? I've read all the threads and have a good idea of what the benefits are but there must be drawbacks, huh? If these chips are simply a way to enhance engine performance with engine management software, why is this new code not integrated in the factory chips?

More Horsepower, More Torque, better gas mileage, $250 bucks, no bad stuff?? If that's the case then it's a no-brainer right? Just need advice.

I've got a '95 540iA with lots of GO! Of course the rush comes in at the higher end of the rpm range. Will the 15-25 increase in hp and torque be noticeable in the 540iA?
