The reason Tire Rack says they don't sell them is because they don't want to be responsible for selling you the wrong thing. If you tell them you have OEM E39 wheels that you want to put on an E34, and tell them that the rings are their part no. A670 (74mm to 72.5mm adapter), Tire Rack _should_ sell them to you.

i called tirerack, and they said that they didn't sell hub centric rings. then, i ordered some hub centric rings from America's Tire Co., but they didn't fit. d you guys know where can i get those hub centric rings to solve my "shimmy" issue. thanks.
