Sell your car in the condition that it is in now, buy my M5 with a bad motor, and do a $8000 engine swap. You will be eating M3's all day long (promise), and you get the suspension and everything already installed into a car that was designed for it. Swapping a motor into your car would work, but then you are left with brakes, suspension, tranny, etc - better of starting with a platform that is already prepped for the performance that you want.

Hey guys,
I, like everyone here, am in love with my e34. It's a 92 525i 5spd M50 NON-Vanos. As you can see I'm not dealing with a lot of power. I was thinking of a major project and I would like some feed back. 1. An engine swap for a M3 engine. Question: What year M3 engine could I put in my car and how much do you think it would be. 2. ActiveAutoworke Turbo Stage 2 Generation 3 upgrade. It rockets the M3 0-60 in 4.2sec. Imagine and E34 pulling up to a Z8 and keeping up with it!!! Any extra information you could give me would help. Thanks guys.
