the lower profile arms, or adjust the hood. I'm problem! I had assumed that the previous owner had replaced the stock arm with some junk aftermarket thing. I can't believe BMW designed this so poorly. I've moved the hood up about 1mm, tightened the bolt... no help. Moving the arm up a spline also causes mine to sit too high. I don't want to shell out $80 for a new arm... would love to hear about a solution.

shooting to avoid adjusting my hood as it seems fine and try and get the lower profile arms. The other suggested fix is moving the arm up a spline or two on the post. I tried that, and it then sits too high on the windshield.
