Rear window gasket problem (archive)

Hey guys, had something wierd happen the other day. The window rolled up, and kind of folded over the side gasket. I had to roll it up in spurts and kind of "guide" it so it would go between the two gaskets. The gasket looks like it is damaged/bent or something, the rubber fits fine, but when the window goes up, you can see it's tendency to fold underneath. Is this a gasket problem or a window alignment problem? Where should I start checking?
