Bill's observeration is correct...most "track grade" or aftermaket ducting systems typically force air into the rotor hat from behind the "rotor splash guard". That is why I'm wondering how effective they really are....any air is better than none..but I think you get maximum effect under the hat.
Hmmm...maybe I use the 540 pickups but fabricate a whole for the outlet vent into the splash guard? Would mean removing the strut for some cutting and welding - quite possible with tools at my disposal....
Anyone have any suggestions how what type of "ducting hose" you might use? And how to route it so it would not interfer with the steering / suspension action?
