towing with a 535? (archive)

I know this sounds blasphemous.

I'm looking at a 1990 535i to augment a faithful but tired 1983 320iS. I need to haul some stuff around in the near future (small U-Haul trailer, small sailboat) and was wondering if anyone knows of a subtle way to attach a trailer hitch to the 535i. I don't want to desecrate the beautiful lines of the car, but I need the utility to justify the purchase.

Please help! My family keeps making suggestions about a Saab Turbo -- which we'll all agree is the only automobile that doesn't get uglier with a ball hanging out its ass.
