Has anyone done a conversion from 89-92 shifter to (archive)

the illuminated type. I have looked under the silver letter panel and there is actually a bulb there that even lights up, but the silver letter panel covers it. I have a 92 525i. Anyone else seen this?

cluster. If not you may have a burned out bulb.


Should the Numbers/Letters on the Auto Shift base, light up when the Lights are on ? If so, does anyone know how easy it is to fix becuase mine don't ?
