values. No matter how much money you put in to a car, chances are you'll never get it back unless it is an antique of official vintage vehicle. You have to know going in to a project whether or not you are keeping the car until it falls apart, or whether you may intend to sell it. For those who may intend to eventually sell their cars, you will find they won't do anything more chip it and adjust the suspension. I bought my 535i 5-spd for $8,500 and have since put a lot of money in to the little things. I will never get that money back, but it doesn't matter b/c I my agenda doesn't call for getting rid of the car. In fact I wouldn't doubt it if I had my fun with the car for the next 10 years and eventually give it to my first son.....and by the time that comes (I'm 24), it won't be worth anything to anybody!
