MY GOD!!!!! (archive)

My brake linings sensor came on, and I had BMW of Bellevue take a look at it and they quoted me $1143 @#!%ing dollars for the job. This is for the pads, rotors and center(?). I don't know what they are smoking but I just had my wifes brakes done at Sears for $290.

Maybe somebody could tell me what justifies the cost of $1143?
