They quoted me $1000 for a inspection II, I did it myself with the Trans getting done also. My breaks doing pads and rotors with new fluid took me about 1.5hrs and $30o for parts. Don't use the stealer for parts either!

In the pic I'm doing my struts and sprigs with control arms, but you get the idea.

I'll do the job for $700 =-)



My brake linings sensor came on, and I had BMW of Bellevue take a look at it and they quoted me $1143 @#!%ing dollars for the job. This is for the pads, rotors and center(?). I don't know what they are smoking but I just had my wifes brakes done at Sears for $290.

Maybe somebody could tell me what justifies the cost of $1143?
