He paid $18,000 for the Camry and has 65,000 miles on it and about $500 in maintenance each year. I paid $9700 for my 89 525ia and have put
$1500 in maintenance into it in 1 year(30,000 miles anually, even in carpool). 3 inspections, oil changes and a complete brake job.
I've got a long way to go before I eclipse the $18,000 he paid. I'll drive mine 2 more years. He'll drive his maybe 2 more years.
$18,000 + (4x$500) = $22,000 - $10,000 sell = $12,000 cost of ownership
$9700 + (4x$1500) = $15,700 - $6,000 sell = $9,700 cost of ownership
Nobody has ever walked up to him and said "WOW! that's a great looking Camry.....
I would like to ask your all opinions about to BMW 530i - 1994. Now, I don't know I should buy old BMW 530i - 1994 or a brand new Toyota Camry LE - 2002. I love BMW so much. But I cannot afford it. So which car do you prefer to? Please give me some advices to which car you prefer to? and why to decide to choose it?
Thank you very much.
Have a nice day to all.
