Hi all,

I'm from the e30 board own driven 4 of em and love em. I'm looking to by an e34 525i. Please give me a crash course on these cars. The one I'm looking at is 89 with about 130k mi on it. I'm interested in reliability, up keep, need for timing belt water pump etc and relative cost. One thing that bothers me is the seller is telling me the odometer which is digital along with the obc is non functioning but the car drives fine. What is the worst case scenario for this and the best maybe a change of a fuse? Please any comments suggestions things to look out for much appreciated.
