Did this solve the problem? Can you buy the solenoids and put them in yourself?

Having exactly the same problem.

Thanks,

I had my valve body changed with all solenoids replace for $500.00. Granted I knew the guy but I'm sure I could get it done for you for under 1K (he's my friend but I'm sure he's not loosing money on me)

Email me and I set you up (He's in Brooklyn, NY)

After about 20 mins of driving computer "Trans Program" shows up in message center. I had the BMW shop look at it and they recommended I have tranny replaced for around $3,000 just for parts, not to mention labor. If its the tranny wouldn't I have problems driving it out of my garage, in my driveway? BMW said it was a internal Solenoid Valve does it make sense to replace Tranny ? Can anyone suggest in Southern part of NY area, Hudson Valley, CT or NJ where I can have Solenoid replaced and if so what is the cost of having it replaced.
