BMW-PIO/M - NOTE 3

Currently, late 1994 to present BMW vehicles are not compatible with any after market CD changer. These vehicles have a different data chip in their radio which does not allow the OEM radio to respond to the Pioneer CDXM30 after market changer. The three new radios which employ this type of data chip are:

Alpine Series V (5)
Pioneer BMW Four Series
Pioneer P102 Series

These radios can be identified by holding DOWN the Negative (-) Tuner button and the Program button simultaneously. The model radio will display
