Turned out to be plugs that goes into the doorhandle. These came loose and made the same noise as you describe. Unfortunately I paid attention to it too late. It got caught between my window and doorhandle inside (a few weeks later). It broke the door handle on the inside which caused the replacement of the whole doorhandle. Open your door and check it out before you have plenty of trouble and have to spend a lot of $$$.
