The Toyota Camry is a nice car to ride in. The BMW is a driver's car. Some time ago, my neighbor let me borrow her Camry to go fetch parts for my Touring. It was a stable but boring trip to the store. I didn't feel inspired to do anything but sleep in the Camry.

My Bimmer makes most trips an event. Even the drive to the office can be a blast. I don't suggest commuting to work at 100+mph but once in a while it can be fun.

In all fairness, I probably spend more in maintenance for my Touring than my neighbor does for her Camry. I think all she does is have the oil changed every year and runs it through a car wash once in a while.

You just need to set your priorities.
