Rough Idle when cold check engine code 1213 (archive)

Sorry for the long post...

Ok, so I finally figured out how to read the engine codes doing the stomp test. Not that hard once you watch the lights flash a couple of times. Mine repeatedly blinks the same code: 1213 -- I counted ten times before I stopped. The Bentley book says that it is supposed to stop after it flashes all the codes. Does that mean my computer is storing the same fault code that many times?

Anyway, Bentley says that is the O2 sensor #2 lean/rich control stop (DME 3.3 only) Corrective Action: check for intake air leaks or reasons for rich mixture.

I am definitely a beginner mechanic and don't know how to proceed on this one. I am tempted to take it to my mechanic as the rough running when cold is horrible. Any thoughts on how I might fix this myself? If not, does it sound like an expensive repair?
