Oper the roof as far as it will go, take the fuse out for the sunroof to disconnect the power. Then pull down the panel in the roof with the sunroof switch in and there is a bolt (can't remember what type it is, but it's in the middle of the circular looking bit - also tells you in the handbook I believe for emergency operation) which you can turn to open (or close!) the roof further manually. Try physically opening it to where it should go to, then reconnect the power and close it with the switch.

no guarantee, but it's just a thought!
