Hi Bill,

Is this the timed vent procedure? Where the fan kicks on at a pre-set time? If so, while it's in the manual for my 10/89 production date 535i, I've never been able to get it to work.

Laughing..or am I all wet and are we talking about something else?

first got my car it tried it out and it worked. I tried it last night following the procedure in the owners manual and couldn't get it to work....I don't know if the first time I used the manual procedure or used a procedure off of the net...I never use it but thought that i would go through the steps to tell you what I did..
