If you can smell it there's a problem with your vent tube. Make sure you hook it up properly when you replace the battery, it's important. Unless you WANT your car to blow up. I can't help with the amps, but it should be pretty standard for the battery group these cars require, no?
I need a new battery. Foul smells coming from back seat, almost like eggs. How many cranking amps (cold and regular) do I require? I have a '95 525i 144k miles.
