Fuel Tank Leak (archive)

I have a leak from somewhere around the fuel tank. I have been under the car and it looks like it is coming from a metal pipe attached to the front of the fuel tank that runs to a plastic expansion tank. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just that metal pipe or whether it needs a new fuel tank.
