I finished it last night, it took me about 3.5 hrs - the spark plugs and O2 sensors took the most time - it may not be a bad idea to do this as preventative maint.(as mentioned earlier) - my largest cost were the sensors and plugs(that got fouled) . . . The actual "valve" is cheap and not "too" hard to change. I do recommend getting a high-quality T30 torx bit for a socket - the bolts are really shallow and a good bit really helps! i ended up boogering-up one of the bolts when I was taking it off(I had to cut it off with a Dremel tool), so I also recommend getting new bolts - $0.90 each(qty 8)

ps, I think in hindsight I would have done this as preventative maint, had I known about it . . . I'm glad it happened when I could pull off the road rather than the 26 mile bridge I would have been on 2 minutes later . . . .
