My wifes car does same thing. It's reporting a fault code for the passenger seat sensor. There is a sensor there that detects if there is a passenger or not. If not then the passenger air-bag does NOT deploy in a crash. If the sensor is faulty the SRS light remains on for two minutes. The passenger air-bag WILL ALWAYS deploy regardless.
They gave me a quote of about $400 to fix it. The sensor mat itself is about $120. I'm going to try it myself some time this winter. You've got to remove the skin off the bottom of the seat.

This is information passed on to me via the dealer. I am not legally responsible for the accuracy of this information.

I noticed today that my SRS dash light stays on for several minutes before going out. I did not notice this before and don't think it's normal.

Can anyone provide any feedback ?

Thanks in advance.
