All I know:
On cars with traction control, the throttle is controled by a motor, not a mechanical linkage.
BMW calls this traction contol and computer controlled throttle EML.
The Bently Manual doesn't cover it. If you still have your owner's manual you should look in there.
Please give me a response for the three times I have posted this question. I apologize if noone knows about EML lights, but if you do, please share your knowledge to the less fortunate, in this case, me. My EML has been going on and off from time to time, and I dont even know what it is. I thought I remember hearing something about a throttle by wire system, but i am not sure. What do I do to fix this? Oh yeah, a piece of advice, never take amtrak, i just got delayed 6 hours twice in a row. And they wonder why they are going out of business...
Thanks for your time,
