I received my tie rods from BMA, cheap and they have the BMW logo on the packing...
That is pissing me off that I bought some crappy parts on ebay and now I have to change them again....

Oh well, leave and learn... and call BMA...

'89 535i
'86 535i new thrust arms, control arms, tie rods...

I replaced the lower control arms and tie rods on my 91 525i about a year ago, with parts from a vendor in California, that sells many parts on ebay. I was under the car today replacing O2 sensor and noticed that all the rubber boots on these "new" parts have cracked and deteriorated to the point that they require replacement again. The parts are German made and appeared to be quality parts. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone tried the replacement boots sold by BMP? Any other solutions?
