Drain engine oil.
Disconnect oil level sensor harness.
Remove the radiator cooling fan and the fan shroud.
Remove the ir cleaner housing from car.
Remove the collant epansion tank mounting bolts, disconnect the overflow hose and the collant level sensor harness.
From below, remove the engine spalsh guard.
Remove the bellhousing reinforcment plate.
Remove power steering pump with bracket, support with stiff wire.
Disconnect the exhaust pipe to transmission support bracket.
Using engine lifting device at the front and rear, raise the engine just until the weight of the engine is supported.
Remove the engine mount retaining nuts and ground strap.
Raise engine as much as possible.
Remove the oil pan retaining bolts and lower the oil pan.
Rotate the crankshaft so that number 6 connecting rod journal is at its highest point and withdraw the oil pan. Rotate the engine as the pan is being removed if necessary.
Change pan gasket.
Installation is the reverse of the above.
