When I was looking into mine, I got every indication that I could have had one or two different ones.

The only way to tell would be to get the model number off of it. I used a mirror.

Replacing the v-reg. is probably possible by leaving it in the car, but I took mine out. Made it much easier.

Looking at old posts, I've figured that my voltage regulator's bad. (lights, dash displays flicker but never go out)

If anyone has ideas to the contrary, let me hear 'em!

I'm going to get the car into the shop and replace the regulator but I'd like to buy it first. How can I tell which alternator I have so I can order the part ahead of time?
Any clues about the cost?
