Use a hairdryer to heat the badge up and slowly work some dental floss between it and the car. Keep the badge hot. Work off the badge slowly. Use 3M adhesive remover to remove residue. Some people have a hard time getting it off some have an easy time. Polish with a suitible product then wax it.

Caveat: When I removed my "i" i found some deep scratches beneath it. Like they had scored it or something to keep the thing on there. I plan on touching it up and wetsanding it as soon as I get a chance.
