Don't have a 535 so I don't know idle speed. But it sounds high. That's why your transmission is pulling. At that idle speed you're starting to get some power transfer through the torque converter.

Recently purchased my 535i Automatic, and this is my first Automatic car.

When in any mode except "N" or "P" when at stand-still the car always tries to move, I have to keep my foot on the brake to keep it still. Is this Normal ? The car Idles at 900 rpm.

I can take my foot of the brake, and crawl along at about 5mph. It might be compeltely normal, but I was just a bit worried about Brake wear.
