Ok, I changed mine on my E34 and received two more (from BMA) for my E28.
Buy two new ones (They even have the BMW logo on the packing) and change them yourself. This is a snap if you have a tie rod puller.
When you remove the old one, measure them and make the new one the same lenght.
Then go for a tie in adjustment.

i agree...bought 2 for about $30.00 each...used a hammer myself...as for the control arms BMW sells a tool,looks like a clamp and screws on over the bolt a wack or two with the hammer and they are off, wish i new about them before i did mine, huge pain never was able to brake driver's side, but next time...and go for the 750 bushings...m
