In Reply to: transplant S50/52 + 5 speed into E34 touring? posted by eric benjamin on November 29, 2000 at 16:22:23:

A BMW tech for BMW of Macon, Robert Luciano has a 95 BMW 525iT fitted with an S50 and supercharger among other things. Very nice looking car and endorsed by Osh Minelian of Race Marque. Lots of racing dynamics parts. Very nice looking. See the March 2000 issue of Max Power US for an aritcle. It seemed as if the process wasn't too bad. Since the E34 was meant to house the six with similar dimensins and mounts i would assume this transplant should be no more costly than any other typical transplant. If you can't find the article email me and I will scan it and email it to you. Hope this helps and I wish i was you! My 525i will have to do for now I suppose.
