Ken,
I was just curious how your liking your 840CI, I've always found them to be beautiful cars. If I could add a 3rd to my collection I would love an 8 series. Did you compare to the 850, just curious if your finding enough power/torque, given some folks say the 850 doesn't have the get up and go they're looking for. I've always thought a 12 cylinder would be enough for me, and if I'm not mistaken your 8 has the same engine as the 540, 740's. Seems like a fair amount of power for a two seater, whats the weight of the car? I have my 91 M5, got my wife a nice Audi A6 Quattro wagon and just think a nice low milaege 8 would be the perfect compliment to the stable. Sorry to any sticklers, I no this ain't the 8 series BB, just a quick transgression.
Kevin is exactly right here, leave the car as it is. Invest your money in driving schools, the car is aready fast enough, learn to maximize it's performance.
Regards,
Ken Little
