I'm actually a huge E34 M5 fan dude.. Not at those prices though... A wagon should imply an everyday driver and something practical... A regular M5 can represent a hybrid between something driven regularly, or as a weekend car.. An M5 touring at those prices, and age, plus given the modifications, and the fact is a grey market car neither represents something that is practical, maintenance or ownersip experience wise that can be driven everyday, nor is a wagon my idea (M5 or not) of a weekend fun car...

Dude, and if you bought a leftover 528i sports wagon, that's what you end up with: a garden variety, left over, ordinary 528i sports wagon instead of a superior, high performance piece of engineering represented by the M5 touring. That's why people are willing to pay top dollar for a M5 touring. It's an awesome and unique car. Some people either just don't get it or aren't enthusiasts.
