help! lost radiator cap in ford-pickup-land (archive)

i'm in atlanta and just lost the coolant cap to my friend's 525i. it's fallen into the cavernous space around the auto transmission. it goes on the triangular shaped reservoir near the firewall. anyone know if an M5 cap may fit this car? thanks very much in advance.
