I agree an S6 Avant definitely would be a cool car, especially with quattro. An M5 touring would still outperform it, and more importantly be much more fun to drive. I bet a new S6 avant would be pushing 60 grand though (if you look on mobile.de that is what USED ones are going for). The Audi A/S6 interior is an absolute work of art! I saw one in "oxblood" I think and it alone almost made want one. On paper (and especially the interiors) almost all of Audi's cars look better than BMW's, but at least for the ones I have driven (old and new S4, A6 2.7t) they aren't nearly as satisfying.
